The following documents all together form the Banking Terms and Conditions that govern our personal accounts and payment facilities, and should be read together.

Deposit and Credit Accounts

The terms and conditions for Deposit and Credit Accounts are called the Banking Terms and Conditions and comprise the Banking General Terms and Conditions and the relevant Product Schedule(s).

You’ll also need to read other documents to understand all the terms and conditions that apply, including current interest rates on accounts and, for a loan or other credit facility with us, the terms and conditions of the loan contract or credit contract.

If you're in the process of opening an account with Greater Bank online and have been directed to this page, unfortunately, you will not be able to complete the account opening process online.

You may be required to complete the relevant Foreign Tax Residency (Individual) Self-Certification Form.

Deposit and Credit Accounts

The terms and conditions for Deposit and Credit Accounts are called the Banking Terms and Conditions and comprise the Banking General Terms and Conditions and the relevant Product Schedule(s).

You’ll also need to read other documents to understand all the terms and conditions that apply, including current interest rates on accounts and, for a loan or other credit facility with us, the terms and conditions of the loan contract or credit contract.

Additional terms and conditions apply to some access methods and payment facilities, which are provided below.

Note: the ‘Additional Terms and Conditions for BPAY® Biller Facility, Merchant EFTPOS Facility, Direct Debit User Facility’ dated 1 September 2023 was retired effective from 7 May 2025 due to these facilities no longer being offered or in use by any of our business customers.

Effective 1 June 2026, Greater Bank will no longer be offering the Foreign Cash repurchase (cashing) service. Affected customers can speak to branch staff or contact us on 13 13 86 to discuss alternative options.

Illawarra Hawks $25 Life Saver & Bonus Saver Offer
To be eligible for the offer, open a new Life Saver or Bonus Saver Account between 14 September 2025 - 31 March 2026 in branch and mention this offer. This promotion is available in our Illawarra branches only, located at: Corrimal, Figtree, Shellharbour, Dapto & Nowra. All account holders must be a new customer to Greater Bank, which means you did not hold any deposit accounts with Greater Bank within the 6-month period prior to opening the new account. Accounts opened online or in branches other than the specified Illawarra branches are not eligible for the offer. If eligible, the $25 account credit will be paid into your new account by the end of the next month after the account was opened (account must still be open at time of payment). Offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer and is limited to one payment per account and to your first eligible account only. Greater Bank may change or withdraw this offer at any time.
