The Central Coast Academy of Sport recently wrapped up another successful season with their Annual Awards evening held at Mingara Recreation Club.
More than 50 athletes, coaches, administrators and parents were in attendance as the Academy recognised those stars who shone brightest during the year.
As part of our sponsorship of the Academy, Greater Bank was delighted to put its name to a new award - the Greater Bank Volunteer Coach of the Year – which recognises the hard work and dedication of the volunteer coaches who form the backbone of the Central Coast Academy of Sport.
The inaugural winner of the award was Head Coach of the Academy’s netball program, Jess Morgan.
A passionate netballer, Jess is not only the current Head Coach of the Greater Bank Netball Program at the Central Coast Academy of Sport but also the U20’s Central Coast Hearts and U14’s Gosford representative team. Priding herself on her professionalism, she believes in building on the strengths of the individual while encouraging practice and perseverance.
Jess received a $500 Greater Bank account voucher as a thank you for all her hard work and dedication through out the year.
This is the third year that Greater Bank has linked with the Central Coast Academy of Sport’s netball program, which plays a vital role in the Netball NSW Athlete Pathway by identifying, monitoring and developing the skills of young netball players.
Greater Bank’s current partnership with the Central Coast Academy of Sport’s netball program will continue through to the end of the 2021 season.
